Founding Principles
The founders of this school established Hanamaki Higashi on the spirit
of their own lifelong principles.
These priciples are gratitude, repayment of kindness,
and service to others. Moreover, as the school was built by people
with pride in their town, we embrace the principle of respect for
our surroundings.
Our aim is to nurture individuals with a sincere and caring attitude,
who embrace the truth, try to improve on their strengths and
who can play an active part in society.
Educational Policies
Based squarely on the founding principles and school mottoes of gratitude,
repayment of kindness, service to others, study and an enterprising spirit,
the school has established the following educational policies:
1. To raise truthful individuals who value learning, refine their
abilities, and respect justice.
2. To raise dignified individuals with a keen sense of beauty,
who value courtesy.
3. To raise strong individuals both in body and will.
4. To raise responsible individuals who respect effort and have
the power to act by showing gratitude, repaying kindness and
serving others.
5. To raise enterprising individuals, who showing individuality will
contribute to the development of society and culture.
